Romeo and Juliet

In Romeo and Juliet, the two main characters are Romeo and Juliet. The other important characters are Montague, Lady Montague, Capulet, Lady Capulet, Benvolio, Abram, Balthasar, Tybalt, Sampson, Mercutio, Prince Escalus, Paris, Friar Lawrence, and Apothecary.
The prologue for Romeo and Juliet pretty much explains the important parts of Romeo and Juliet.
Romeo and Juliet started off at a gas station. At the gas station, a fight began between the Montagues and the Capulets. Sampson bit his thumb at the Capulets, and Abram started questioning Sampson if he’s biting his thumb at them. In Romeo and Juliet, biting your thumb at someone is a sign of defiance. Then the fight starts when Benvolio enters and Tybalt finishes talking. At the end of the fight scene, the prince had to interfere with them and threatened to stop fighting or be killed. After the prince said that, the fighting stopped and the Capulets and Montagues had to meet the prince.
I think Shakespeare started of the movie with a fight scene is because he probably wanted to prove how much the Capulets and Montagues hate each other. Through out the movie, Romeo meets Juliet and fall in love as soon as they saw each other. I still don’t know why or how they could fall in love in the first time they saw each other and al ready want to marry each other.
Romeo and Juliet is at first a comedy, but then it turns into a tragedy. There’s a lot of fighting towards the end of the play and a lot of people die…
